What is Transform: 20?

Similar to LIIFT4, each day will be a NEW workout — never repeating the same workout twice.

It’s not all about the physical transformation.
Yeah. This program is going to work your body — abs, legs, arms, booty — but it’s also about transforming the mind. On day 7 (your rest day) there will be a new weekly video to help sharpen your focus, visualize your goals, and push yourself!

What’s the nutrition plan for Transform: 20?

You have the option of following two different meal plans for this program:

The Transform: 20 Meal Plan
Or 2B Mindset

Just like many other Beachbody programs, the Transform: 20 plan uses the Portion Fix container system. It gives you a simple formula to use to figure out which bracket you fall into and container counts for each day — simple!

What equipment is needed?

These workouts are 100% bodyweight — no weights. And there’s only ONE piece of equipment you’ll need, and it’s what Beachbody is calling “The Step.”

What are the workouts like?

There are 3 Phases to the program: Commit, Climb, and Conquer. As you progress through each phase, the workouts get harder and the moves become more intricate (similar to 80 Day Obsession).

There are 5-weekday workouts: Burn, Faster, Stronger, Powerful, and Cut. Each workout has a different focus. There will be lots of fast feet movements on the steps and plenty of pushups, burpees, and lots of ab work!

And finally one for the weekend: Balance. This consists of some light cardio and strength work, and lots of stretching.

When will Transform: 20 be released?

This seems to be the new norm for our programs. It will launch in 2 phases:

VIP Early Access: Starting December 4th the program will be on sale on, this means Challenge Packs, Completion Packs, Accessory Bundles, or Stand-Alone Digital
VIP Access.Early Access workouts for Transform: 20 will be on Beachbody On Demand starting January 2019.

Without Early Access: All other BOD subscribers will gain access to the program starting April 1st, 2019.

May Results - Weigh In

Progress, not perfection! 😁

What you don't see is by May 14th I was up 3lbs for the month, started the mindset eating group and lost 8.2 lbs over the last few weeks. AND that is with me traveling for work, attending a work conference and going out of town for Memorial Day.

Can't wait to see what June brings!! 

Memorial Day Weekend - Official Start to Summer

Living in Arizona, it never really stops being summer! Summer for me always meant, sunshine and pool weather. But for everywhere else in the states, Memorial Day weekend is the official start to summer.  And to celebrate we decided to head down to Tuscon.

Loaded up the puppies and drove down Friday night after work. Enjoyed the evening revisiting some of our favorite spots from our trip 15 years ago.

Saturday we planned on getting up and touring Old Tuscon Studios.  Had fun watching the shows and taking the stagecoach ride.  Had a little tequila and got a little sunburned!

Finished the day by picking up the puppies and driving up to Mt. Lemmon.  Stopped many times along the way to let the dogs walk on the trails and enjoy the beautiful vistas.

Cinco de Mayo

My hubby and I love partaking in Cino de Mayo and that is mainly because we love TACOS and I am always game for a margarita. 😁 Ha!

I have been on plan for several weeks now with no alcohol and had decided beforehand that I would be indulging with some tacos and margaritas on Cinco de Mayo. And believe me, I did! Now, that doesn't mean I indulged all day or all weekend.  I had my shake for breakfast and then late evening I had leftover steak and spinach and I drank lots of water throughout the day. I didn't use this one event to mess up the entire day or the entire weekend.  That is a huge win for me!!

It feels good to know you can indulge sometimes and still not go off the rails.  It is about how you go into it.  This wasn't a spur of the moment decision, it was planned, which I think helped to jump right back into eating on plan.

I am starting my 2B Mindset group on May 14th. We are prepping this week and my eating will change.  I will have more flexibility compared to what I have allowed myself in the past.  I am excited to learn and experience this, because in the past, with so many restrictions I have fallen off the wagon and binged. My desire is to be free of that unhealthy eating pattern for good. To truly find balance and enjoy food, to live life and not feel so controlled by food.

April, Got Back on Track

Well, I haven't completely made up for going off the rails in February and March, but I am headed back in the right direction and I will take that.

I really only kicked it into gear the last week in April! My husband had major surgery on April 16th, and had a colectomy (bowel resection) and removed almost 8 inches of his colon.  He was in the hospital for 4 days and just yesterday, 16 days after surgery, had his staples and his last tube removed.  He can now move around without the tube coming out of his body! 

For someone who struggles with emotional and binge eating, dealing with a major stress in your life, or any stress for that matter makes it very difficult to stick to a "diet" plan. While the surgery just took place April 16th, he has been unwell for a while. 

Even staying committed and on track, for the end of April I had to repeat over and over in my head, "Stay Focused", "You Can Do This". Positive mental talk all the time! I read and listened to personal development, I was constantly filling my cup up with anything that would move me forward in a positive way.  The struggle is real!! :) But we can do it if we keep our eyes on the prize and stay focus and committed to our goals.

2B Mindset: How it Should Be!

2018 so far...Kind of a Bust!

Here is the reality of my 2018 so far. I don't share this because I love sharing my failures. Trust me, I don't and this makes me super uncomfortable! I share this because I can't be the only one that struggles with keeping their commitments to themselves or has a million and one "day 1's". 

I know there are others that set themselves on a health and fitness journey and knock it out of the park the first time and every time. They start a new 90-day program and finish it with no slips or cheats. I am super happy and impressed with these people. I let them inspire me. But apparently, I am not that person! 

I can keep my commitments to others, no problem. If I'm your person, I'm there for you every day, every step of the way. It is myself that I seem to let down. I know I'm not the only one on this vicious cycle. We are the silent ones, trying again and again. 

If this sounds like you then I'm now speaking directly to you, I'm not giving up and either should you! I don't care how many times or "day 1's" it takes me and neither should you. Screw what others think, they are not walking in your shoes. Don't let what others think or say about you dictate how you live your life!
